Lindsey Purviance | College Senior

People should do this more often! Lindsey is graduating from Lindenwood University in December (education major!), so we took some senior pictures! College senior pictures are a great idea! It was really neat getting to take graduation pictures with Lindsey. We got to take some cap and gown pictures (with a champagne celebration!) and we got pictures with Lindsey's rings ... not just any rings, but the rings she got from earning back-to-back national jazz championships with the Lionettes dance team! I'm super excited for Lindsey to graduate! She is currently doing her student teaching at the same elementary school she attended (in the district she graduated from)! It's wonderful that her cyc

Whitehead Family | Fall Minis

For the last two years (in 2016 and 2017), we have been honored to spend the day with Melissa, Spencer and Hudson. This year, we got to spend time with them again and got to meet the newest member of their family, Adalynd, who was just about to be born the last time we saw them! It was great catching up with them and seeing how much Hudson has changed. (He even claims to remember me! How neat is that?!) It has been a pleasure getting to see the Whitehead family grow! And baby makes four! Look at those sweet baby eyes! Hudson was definitely in show-off mode, which was adorable with his little sister! And of course we need a picture with mom and dad, too! I love these pictures with Spencer and

Samantha Kunza | Class of 2019

Samantha Kunza is going places. This all-star athlete is a senior at Timberland High School. Not only is she an wonderful woman, she is an amazing athlete ... she is All-American in hammer throw. For most of her life, Samantha has been perfecting the hammer throw ... I sort of think of it like the discus or shot but, but with a metal ball attached to a grip by a steel wire. The ball weighs upwards of six or more pounds and the winner is determined by how far the hammer is thrown. (As I was reading about the hammer throw, I also found out that the women's hammer throw was first included in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney!) Her big brother also competes in the hammer throw (at Mizzou), and her dad

Emily Schoonover | Class of 20189

Emily is a senior at Timberland High School. She plays doubles tennis and is going to college for nursing. I have known Emily since she she was in elementary school. I think this has been the first time in my life I've had that moment of disbelief of how quickly kids grow up! When I found out she had her driver's license, I just couldn't believe it. And now that she's a senior, I'm in complete shock. But it was a total honor to get to spend an afternoon with her to take these pictures. This might be my favorite from the whole session! While I don't normally subscribe to the J.J. Abrams style (lens flare), this picture of the left makes me happy because of Emily's smile. She has such a wonder
